Santa Clara County Bar Association endorses Jeff Rosen for District Attorney. A Majority Vote Current D.A. Carr unqualified.

SAN JOSE, March 30, 2010 – The Santa Clara County Bar Association conducted a plebiscite of its members in connection with the primary election for Santa Clara County District Attorney and contested Superior Court Seats number 9, 17 and 19. To be eligible to participate in the Association’s plebiscite a candidate must be a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and must agree to abide by the Santa Clara County Bar Association’s Judicial or District Attorney Election Code of Ethics, making them subject to the oversight of the Fair Election Practices Commission. The Association’s endorsement rules require that a candidate receive at least a plurality of the “Qualified” votes cast to receive the Association’s endorsement.
The Association will endorse Jeffrey Rosen for Santa Clara County District Attorney.
The Association will endorse for Santa Clara County Superior Court Judicial Office the following: JoAnne McCracken for Judicial Office #7; Vanessa Zecher for Judicial Office #11 and Julia Allioggiamento for Judicial Office #19.
